WeTheBrave supports Joburg Pride

Selby Mkhize, aka Selbeyonce, Ukhozi FM’s controversial conversation kick starter and WeTheBrave.co.za’s new campaign champion, attended the Johannesburg Pride Festival over the weekend to give the public a unique behind-the-scenes peek at his Pride adventures.
Ecstatic to be attending Pride for the very first time, Mkhize says, “OMG. I am so excited to be sharing all the behind-the-scenes action with my and WeTheBrave.co.za’s fabulous followers. I cannot wait for you all to see the rainbow flags flying high, not to mention all the beautiful people taking part.”
Mkhize is tasked with raising awareness around WeTheBrave.co.za and the importance of looking after one’s sexual health. “There is not a lot out there about sexual health, especially for gay men and men who have sex with men. The campaign, spearheaded by the Anova Health Institute and funded by the Elton John Foundation, informs people in a non-judgemental way about what measures they need to take to keep themselves and their partners safe.”
Free HIV testing was also provided at Anova's Health4Men gazebo. For more information, visit www.wethebrave.co.za. Alternatively, connect with them on Facebook, on Twitter or on Instagram using the #BraveEnough hashtag.
