This is a training manual for use in a primary healthcare setting. It is designed to provide the learner with basic skills in the assessment o fmental health, as well as a basic knowledge of mental health problems in HIV. It provides guidance regarding pathways of referral, and a list of resources.

This manual was funded by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), through USAID under the terms of Award No. 674-A-00- 08-00009-00 to the Anova Health Institute.
