National Department of Health (DOH)
Anova Health Institute’s main partner in South Africa works with the National Department of Health, particularly in assisting with the implementation of the new national monitoring and evaluation system, tier.net.
The department works to consolidate and build on the achievements of the past to improve access to healthcare for all, reduce inequity, and to focus on working in partnership with other stakeholders to improve the quality of care of all levels of the health system, especially preventive and promotive health, and to improve the overall efficiency of the healthcare delivery system.
Anova's key implementing partners are the regional health departments in Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the Western Cape.
