World Day for Safety and Health at Work
April 28, 2012
– All Day Event
World Day for Safety and Health at Work is an international campaign to promote safe, healthy, and decent work.
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) began to observe World Day for Safety and Health at Work in 2003, stressing the prevention of accidents and illnesses at work, capitalising on its traditional strengths of tripartism and social dialogue. 28 April is also a day the world's trade union movement has long associated with commemorating victims of occupational accidents and disease.
